Trimble is launching my.Sketchup to run 3d modeling tool in any web GL browser

SketchUp Tutorial

Trimble is experimenting with a new version of SketchUp known as my.SketchUp that supports any modern web browser.

The latest version of the push / pull modelling tool, mostly recognized by the architects and other construction industry professionals, accumulates models in the cloud in order that these can be obtained from the office or on site.

my.SketchUp is specifically designed to showcase almost all the tools from its desktop counterpart. The software is presently in beta testing phase so all the features of my.SketchUp are not accessible to the users but the priority is provided to the most frequently used features.

my.SketchUp applies Trimble Connect to automatically accumulate models in the cloud. So the models can be distributed with others, and versions, clashes, and comments can be controlled in course of time.

The new users can generate a Trimble account and get started with 10GB of free personal storage.
