Tips to determine the volume of 1 bag (50 kg) cement

We know that the weight of one cement bag is 50 kg but we don’t know what will be the volume of 1 bag cement.

In the following construction video tutorial, the renowned civil engineer, Mr. Mukesh Shaw, provides some useful tips to find the volume of one cement bag.

Density of cement in loose condition that means without moisture = 1440 kg/m³

To find out the volume of 1 cement bag, the following formula is used :-

Mass/Density = 50/1440 = 0.03474 cubic meter

To convert unit of measurement to cubic feet = 0.0347 x 35.3147 = 1.225 cft.
