Job for Project Managers and Site Engineers

O’Brien Contractors, a Midlands-based construction company that offers civil engineering, design and build and groundworks services, is seeking some project management and engineering staffs having good experience on civil engineering and groundworks projects.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Committed single point of contact for the project.
  • Maintain the site relationship among O’Brien Contractors and the client.
  • Supervising and managing general contract performance, specifically regarding cost and time.
  • Managing and maintaining supply chain relationships in the jobsite.
  • Take liability for executing the project management plan – completely comprising the requisites of the project quality, environmental and health & safety plan.
  • Prerequisite of delegated authority to undertake crucial decisions on site.
  • Provide support to the estimators in the tender process.
  • Give useful suggestions on construction methodology, programming and labour.

Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Work in tandem with site team and provide technical guidance, advice and knowledge if required.
  • Management of workforce and subcontractors.
  • Setting out as per the contract design.
  • Verifying all drawings, plans and quantities to ensure all the calculations are correct.
  • Supervise quality control, environmental and health and safety matters on site.
  • Submit technical queries on design issues that can impact the growth of the project.
  • Employing QA processes.
  • Generate as built drawings.
  • Robotic engineering experience.
  • Sound knowledge in AutoCAD.
