Construction Inspector in San Francisco

Position Title: Construction Inspector Hill International is a U.S. based Project Management and Claims Consultancy firm with offices throughout the World.

Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 9th largest construction management firm in the World. Hill International is seeking to employ a Construction Inspector, with heavy construction experience, for one of its on-going projects in San Francisco, CA.

Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 5-7 years, experience in wastewater/water treatment plant construction inspection services.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily reporting on progress, quality, issues, etc., inspections to document adherence to contract documents, review of submittals, review of payment applications, coordination between general contractor and client’s staff, monitoring of schedule and issues affecting the schedules.
• Track RFI’s maintaining record documents, maintenance of non-compliance logs, photographic documentation, evaluation of test reports, risk management on the project.
• Assist the Resident Engineer with contract change orders.
• Lead inspections in the field.
• Keep track of project and consultant expenditures.
