General Manager - Construction in Fort Wayne

The steady, rapid growth of the company has created the need to hire someone who can step in and immediately lead the sales team and other functional areas of the organization. The successful candidate will live in the Crown Point, IN. area, have strong leadership abilities, detailed oriented, a passion for timeliness and excellence, and the ability to communicate to all levels in an organization.

Essential Functions:

• Create, maintain and execute a successful marketing and sales plan with the sales team.
• Develop current Team Members and build the team to fulfill the sales and marketing objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to all functional areas of the organization to ensure bottom line profitability of the branch.
• Ability to assume total responsibility from receipt of the signed contract through to completion and final payment on all projects.
• Assume responsibility for branch relationships to ensure that the highest level of satisfaction is achieved through fair and equitable treatment of all participants.
• Effectively manage and schedule all subordinates to complete all projects on-time and within budget.
• Insure that all projects meet the high quality standards required by our company.
• Verifiable ability to write reports, business correspondence and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Professional aptitude to attend management/owner meetings and interact with insurance institutions, customers, employees, vendors and project team members.
• Ensure that strict safety standards are followed at all times.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related discipline is preferred.
• Ten (10) years’ experience in commercial and residential construction and/or restoration with verifiable leadership responsibilities.
• Commutable distance to the Fort Wayne area.
• Demonstrated ability to build sales revenue on a continuous basis through individual and team efforts.
• Functional experience with strategic and operational planning, human capital management, production methods, safety and security compliance requirements.
• Experience in managing projects at or below budget through subordinate personnel.
