Max Coppoletta has developed Material Isolator for sketchup. This sketchup add-in is well suited with SketchUp 2015. This sketchup extension is applied to recognize a selected or active material beyond the model by segregating visualness of all other objects.

It also offers the following functionalities:-

  • Instantly verify the particular painted objects.
  • Applied as a color picker.
  • After leaving the tool, previous view is reinstated automatically.
  • Applicable to painted faces, not painted group boxes (cursor will notify when material refers to a group box).
  • Chosen material is visible in the VCB and screen corner.
