Medeek Truss Plugin contains an easy to use interface for generating perfect 3D truss geometry inside sketchup.

Presently, the plugin can generate some common truss types (Metric and US/Imperial) like King Post (2/2), Queen Post (4/2), Fink (4/3) [with raised/energy heel option], Howe (4/4) as well as some specialty truss types like Attic [US/Imperial], Monopitch (2/2, 3/3) [US/Imperial], Scissor (2/2, 4/4), [Metric and US/Imperial], Floor (Modified Warren - System 42) [Metric and US/Imperial].

With the help of industry standard methods for web location (panel lengths), web scarfs at joints and a 1/4" typical butt cut, all trusses are sketched or designed. Floor trusses are sketched by the revised Warren configuration having one central chase, options for ribbon cuts and top or bottom bearing are also presented.

With this sketchup plugin, the users will be able to produce either a single truss or array of trusses with user input for the number of trusses in the array and the on center spacing amid trusses.
