V-Ray 3.2 for 3ds Max with superior rendering capabilities

3d Model

Chaos Group introduced V-Ray 3.2 for 3ds Max, a free update that inserts the power of VR rendering as well as new features for V-Ray RT GPU.

This newest version of V-Ray for 3ds Max includes two VR camera types which facilitate the users to render stereo cube maps and spherical stereo images for previewing it on VR headsets like the Oculus Rift and Samsung's Gear VR.

V-Ray RT GPU will be the first commercial licensee of Nvidia's Quasi-Monte Carlo sampling technology that is activated when it is applied with Nvidia's Cuda-based hardware to offer superior level of rendering speed and interactive while running on Nvidia GPUs. Other crucial features which are included into V-Ray RT GPU range from anisotropic highlights, displacement maps, composite maps, output curves, texture baking, and support for Mari's UDIM system.

V-Ray 3.2 contains volume grid support for OpenVOB, Field3D, and Phoenix FD, allowing the users to include or eliminate distributed rendering nodes on the fly, an updated light-cache algorithm, and geometry optimizations as well as Intel Embree support for 3ds Max hair and fur and V-Ray fur.

The existing V-Ray 3.0 customers can upgrade to V-Ray 3.2 at free of cost. A new build, 3.20.02, has just released and is accessible for download.

V-Ray 3.2 supports 3ds Max 2016.
