Initially, it is required to determine the volume of the plate based on the above dimension as follow :-

Volume = Length x Breadth x Thickness
After the values, we get the following result :-
Volume = 1 x 1 x 0.003 (after converting to meter)
Volume = 0.003 cubic meter
Before determining the weight, it is necessary to find out the density of the mild steel as follow :-
Density of mild steel (approx) = 7850 kg/m3
As we know, weight = volume x density
Weight = 0.003 x 7850 = 23.55 kg
The above method is applicable to find out the weight of the steel plate with different thicknesses.
